Ever wanted to be a rally driver? How about rallying in miniature?
Starting this September the Clogher Valley Model Car Club has a new ‘Rally Car’ class, a stock spec class offering low cost out of the box racing using the standard Tamiya TT-02 kit.
The class is based on rally car body shells with a wide range of Subaru Impreza, Mitsubishi Lancers, Ford Focus’s, Lancia Delta’s and many more to chose from you can pick the perfect car for you. Racing indoors on polished wood with special tyres the cars will slide around corners just like the real thing as you race side by side.
With limited modifications allowed this promises to promote very close low cost racing utilising Silver Can ‘Torque Tuned’ motors, ball race kit and oil filled shocks.
This new class is being ran alongside the existing 1/10th 4wd off-road buggies which use high powered brushless motors and lithium batteries to deliver exhilarating racing with jumps and different grip surfaces occasionally added into the mix!
The Racing takes part in the Wesleyan Hall in Fivemiletown. We run 3 leagues every year each comprised of 10 nights racing on a Thursday from 7:30pm.
Thursday 1st September is a practice night with the first league race starting on Thursday 8th September.

Clogher Valley MCC and all its members are members of the British Radio Car Association (BRCA). We race every Thursday night from September to June at the Wesleyan Hall, Fivemiletown. Entries start at 7.00pm with the first heat at 7.45pm and cost £5.00 (£3.00 for under 16’s).
